PLEASE READ:

Recipes will be centered on the board and the layout direction will be determined by the recipe you upload. If it's written with a more horizonal flow, then that will be how it will be engraved on the board. If the writing is more of a vertical flow, then vertical engraving will be the layout.

What YOU will need to do BEFORE you place your custom order:

**Take a photo or scan your recipe using your CELL PHONE.

**UPLOAD the photo (.JPG or .PNG format) when placing your custom order.

PLEASE NOTE:

Each board is custom engraved, slight variations must be expected. We try our best to keep the integrity of the original document and image intact as much as humanly possible.

TIPS FOR SCANNING OR PHOTO TAKING:

Place your paper on a flat surface that is in a well-lit area. Natural lighting is best!
Take photo from straight on, not at an angle. Avoid shadows you may cast on the object. Make sure photo is clear and not blurry at all.
If the handwriting is faded or not legible even if only in some areas, make a photocopy of the recipe, then trace over the writing with dark ink.

Wood Grain/Color Variations: These boards are made from natural, unstained wood. Due to the natural state of the wood, there will be slight color variations that differ from the pictured boards.

Engraving Pattern/Color Variations: These boards are engraved using a professional laser. Engraving/burning will result in a variation of shade (dark vs. light) depending on the grain pattern of the wood.
